Wynonna Reveals Sexy Secrets Behind Weight Loss

Wynonna Judd is looking -- and feeling -- better than ever these days. The mother of two recently dropped 55 pounds and five dress sizes, and was able to celebrate in a unique way during a weekend getaway to Las Vegas.

"I went to my first club in Vegas and danced on the pole with friends," Wynonna, 46, tells People. "I feel more alive."

Earlier this year was a different story as the singer had multiple health scares which included blood clots in her lungs and injuries after being involved in a head-on collision in Salt Lake City. After bouncing back, Wynonna says she became "more determined than ever to commit to a healthier lifestyle."

Wynonna's tricks to keeping the weight off include brain-state conditioning, a treatment that helps patients be less inclined to turn to food during stressful situations, as well as keeping her pantry stocked with a healthier selection. "My weight was a symptom and not the problem," says the singer. "I used food to soothe and reward, and I don't do that anymore. [Also now], very seldom will you see donuts in my house because I can eat a box. It's like a chip; I can't eat just one."

One of the greatest joys in dropping the pounds is being able to shop for a new wardrobe, which Wynonna says has been a huge boost to her self-confidence. "If you look at old Judd photos, I was hiding in turtlenecks and coats," she says.

Wynonna details her new favorite clothing items: jeans, low-cut tops and sexy undergarments. "I went into a lingerie store for the first time where I didn't feel embarrassed," she says proudly. "I left feeling like Miss America!"

Look for Wynonna in her sexy new clothes, along with her mom, Naomi Judd, on the road through December. The Judds have reunited for their Last Encore tour. Click here for a complete list of tour dates.

Paris & Nicky Hilton: Playboy Mansion Halloween Party!

On Saturday, Paris Hilton went Native American for her night out on the town in Los Angeles with superhero-sister Nicky Hilton.

The leggy twosome were photographed in their sexy costumes heading into the fourth annual Kandy Halloween Party inside the Playboy Mansion, accompanied by several friends, including oil industry scion Brandon Davis, who showed up dressed in a bright orange jumpsuit stamped 'Psych Ward.'

(Davis' appearance may have spooked some guests: the 31-year-old was the subject of a death hoax last month, with internet rumors spreading the false news of his demise.)

Paris was seen wearing super-sexy sailor garb recently, while shopping for Halloween accessories at a lingerie shop in Hollywood known for its racy party costumes. But this week, she retired the nautical fashions.

Just days ago, 29-year-old Paris was spotted in another, more understated Native-American-inspired design, as she cuddled her pups (both in doggie costumes) on the way into the Chateau Marmont in L.A. to meet up with little sister Nicky, 27.

No matter what troubles arise, including Paris' cocaine-related arrest in August, it's clear these Halloween-loving siblings have each other's back!

The Queen’s Bra-Maker Is Having Financial Woes

Generally, being the official provider of some product to someone who wears a crown can only boost your business, but these days that’s not the case for Queen Elizabeth II’s go-to place for underwear, Rigby and Peller.

The company, which has held the warrant to provide the United Kingdom’s monarch with intimates and unmentionables since 1960, also counts Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga and Scarlett Johannson among it’s clients. It’s known for its near-legendary service — The Independent writes that getting a bra fitted at one of its many shops used to be considered a rite of passage.

It’s also considered expensive, and with similar services offered at more accessible retailers, Rigby and Peller is felling the pressure of competition:

A consumer looking for a budget purchase may now pick up a bra at any high-street chain for £10. Department stores too offer a huge range of merchandise, as do upmarket retailers such as Myla and La Perla.

Add that trend to rapid expansion since the company came under new ownership in the early 80s, and you’ve already got a serious drain on a struggling business. In fact, “according to its latest annual accounts, the company made a loss of £214,000 last year, compared with a pre-tax profit of £168,000 the year before.”

So why is the well-pedigreed shop is having trouble? Now that the world’s economy is getting back on its feet, buyers are noticing that women are willing to invest a little more in great quality underwear. While Rigby and Peller has that to spare (it even stocks up to size M) it’s been difficult for the independent retailer to keep up with big-box chains and flashy luxury labels.

Call it a sign of the times, but maybe catering to the Queen hasn’t been so beneficial thing, after all.

strip club billboard comes down

Angry motorist or act of God?

Either way, one of the controversial billboards advertising Danny's, a downtown Jackson strip club, has been torn down. The provocative advertisement featuring a blonde in a bikini with the slogan "Strippers love to climb our pole," was hanging off the side of the billboard just south of Savanna Street on I-55 North.

Chris Gannon, the attorney for Danny's, said his client has agreed to change the wording on the signs on I-55 and I-220, but he said he was unaware of the board on I-55 coming down. The sign on I-220 remained intact Monday afternoon.

Last month, Mayor Harvey Johnson Jr. sent a letter to brothers Blake and Daniel "Dax" Owens asking them to consider removing the signs. Gannon said club management has agreed to change the slogan on the signs.

"I think that's what the city was most upset about," he said.

Gannon said he did not know how long it would take to alter the remaining signs on I-220.
