At first glance, the blonde in the red swimsuit posing on the beach looks a little like a cast member of Baywatch.

In fact, it's actually Paris Hilton posing for a set of snaps to publicise her new swimwear range.

The 29-year-old star showed off her trim and toned figure as she struck a number of poses on a idyllic Hawaiian beach this weekend.

The star looked relaxed as she stood in the sea, perched on rocks and sat on the deserted beach for the shots, which are said to be for a upcoming edition of a European magazine.

Her appearance was reminiscent of Pamela Anderson's appearances in 1990s hit series Baywatch.

Anderson, now 43, played lifeguard C.J. Parker on the hit show from 1992-1997.

Hilton is also in Hawaii to visit the family of her boyfriend Cy Waits, who grew up there.

She was spotted on the island of Molokai with Waits on Friday, where they dined out at a local restaurant, according to Radar Online.

'Everybody wanted to take pictures with her and she was very accommodating,' a source told the website.

'She didn't turn anybody down, and her boyfriend just stepped aside and let her do her thing every time someone asked for a photo.'

Hilton seems to have brushed off what has been a couple of troubled months.

She was arrested back in August for cocaine possession after being pulled over by police who suspected Cy Waits was driving under the influence.

Waits was arrested for DUI, and Hilton was found to have just under a gram of cocaine in her purse.

She insisted that neither the purse nor the cocaine belonged to her.

But Hilton was charged and given one year's suspended jail sentence, a $2,000 fine and 200 hours of community service as part of a plea deal.

In October, Alexandria Mills became the first American woman to be crowned Miss World, but now rumors of a nude photo have surfaced on the Internet, potentially tarnishing the soft-spoken 18-year-old's wholesome image.

According to RadarOnline.com, the racy photo of Mills was taken this summer.

The celebrity gossip site reports that the picture was taken in what seems to be a bathroom and was originally sent to her boyfriend.

The site says it has seen the photo and has confirmed its authenticity.

Mills took over the Miss World title from Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar, who was named Miss World 2009 at a ceremony last December.

Mills is the latest in a growing list of attractive celebrities to have private pics catch the public's eye.

Katy Perry led the dance party that doubled as the finale of the 2010 Victoria's Secret fashion show, an annual parade of skimpy, sexy and over-the-top lingerie.

In a yellow, strapless bustier dress covered in pink hearts, Perry - who also wore the thigh-high boots that were a trend among the catwalkers - fit right in with the likes of models Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova.

The difference between some of the newer models and more seasoned VS Angels, however, is an electricity and warmth that was largely missing from the runway. According to the soap's creator Tony Warren, viewers are desperate for more scenes of Kym Marsh in the buff.

Victoria’s Secret is guarded like a fortress. But a glimpse inside Manhattan’s Lexington Armory Wednesday morning offered a preview of the lingerie maker’s brightest night of the year.

Several hours before the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, 30 models sat in four rows, each draped in pink robes and flanked with stylists tending to their hair and makeup. Under the spotlight at one end of the room was an arrangement of “100% human hair” extensions, each marked with a model’s name. The day began around 8 a.m. and will carry well into the night after two performances and an afterparty at recently-opened Midtown club.

One model, South Africa’s Candice Swanepoel, could only offer a few details about her three outfits. “They’re all very different,” she said as a stylist arranged clips in her hair. “One is sexy but another is very cute.” Swanepoel is returning for her fourth straight show and says she’s excited about recently becoming a spokesmodel for the brand. In August, she hosted the opening of Victoria’s Secret’s first Canadian store in Edmonton.

The night will also include fresh faces. Katsia Damankova, who has been with Ford Models since 2006, continues to study journalism at a university in St. Petersburg, Russia. Damankova joined Victoria’s Secret earlier this year and will appear in her first show tonight. On her debut night, she says she’ll keep her mind on “the beauty and the great people.”

The line that translates as 'insane lingerie' features discreet magnetic clasps set at the front of the bra and concealed by bows. Even the knickers

The label's website calls the range 'romantic and naughty', and the magnetised system 'very strong'. The 'Volant' design is described as 'perfectly suited to small breasts', with 'ruffles and bows to highlight the curve of the hip'.

Director Bill Condon is sticking fairly close to his source material in bringing Bella and Edward's Brazilian honeymoon to the big screen. As Japan hosts a Asia-Pacific summit this week, a women's underwear maker Wednesday unveiled a bra that is meant to lift spirits as well as bust lines and support the country's tourism sector.

Triumph Japan showcased its bustier-style "Welcome to Japan! Bra" that it said was inspired by a tour guide's uniform, features a display for images of sightseeing spots and can greet visitors in three languages.

A row of three electronic push buttons running down the centre of the garment triggers audio greetings in English, Chinese and Korean.

"Furthermore, tour guide flags are inserted on each side of the bra," the company said. "When not used to guide tourists, the flags act as side stays, providing good support and creating an attractive bust line."

The most risque feature is a short skirt attached to the dark blue outfit that flips up to reveal a map of Japan.

Triumph said it hoped the design, the latest in a line of not-for-sale promotional bras it has launched to mark major trends and events, will help support Japan's goal of attracting 30 million foreign tourists a year.

Promising a lingerie boost for the country's hospitality industry, it said: "Identifying and making good use of abundant tourism assets that still remain untapped in Japan will contribute to stimulating the domestic economy."

The picture was posted to Kim's own website and is part of the new advertising campaign for the swimwear line and Kim admitted her inspiration had come from the classic sci-fi flick.

Ryanair releases flight attendant bikini calendar

European budget carrier Ryanair has once again invited controversy with the release of its 'Girls of Ryanair' calendar.

First launched in 2008, the annual calendar features female flight attendants from the airline posing in bikinis, often on board or beside Ryanair planes.

The initial launch of the calendar was greeted by anger from some, including the Spanish government, whose Women's Institute sent letters of complaint to the airline.

Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary has defended the calendar on the grounds that it raises money for charity.

The airline says it aims to raise €100,000 ($A137,000) for charity this year, bringing the total raised from its calendars to more than €400,000 ($A548,800). Ryanair crew select a charity to support each year – this year's beneficiary is Germany's 'Tafel', who provide food to people in need.

Tafel's Chief Executive, Gerd Häuser, welcomed Ryanair's move.

"We encourage German passengers to buy even more Ryanair cabin crew calendars this year in the knowledge that every €10 they spend on the cabin crew calendar goes straight to Tafel,” he said.

O'Leary said the calendar sold particularly well in Germany, even as the airline announced plans to cancel flights on nine routes in the country due to a proposed air passenger tax.

Ryanair and its outspoken boss have long courted controversy over its low-cost operating model, which sees passengers hit by a variety of fees including a £5 ($A8) charge for printing out their own boarding passes. The airline phased out check-in desks last year.

Earlier this year, O'Leary suggested another way to make money would be to charge passengers to use the toilets on board planes. The airline has also said it is looking into 'vertical seating' as a way to fit more passengers on to planes.

In her latest drama “Love & Other Drugs,” Anne Hathaway portrays free-spirited Maggie Murdock, who suddenly finds herself under the “drug” of love when she is charmed by Viagra salesman Jamie Randall, played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

But getting hot and heavy wasn’t exactly an enjoyable experience for the 27-year-old starlet.

“It’s racy – very racy. I keep asking people if it is too sexy for them. However it is just part of the job,” Hathaway told Pop Tarts at the film’s Hollywood premiere last week. “That being said, it is intensely mortifying taking your clothes off in front of other people, but it is also intensely mortifying doing a lot of things in front of people and I’ve learned how to deal with that. Who knows if I will ever do it again, it depends on the material.”

And according to Gyllenhaal, it is as real as reel can be.

“The sex is portrayed in a real way, in an intimate way, and nobody is hiding behind anybody,” he said. “I think that that is hopefully what love is about and that is what these two characters do in this movie. I hope people would want to see that, and if not then we’re both naked – so..."

But luckily for Hathaway and Gyllenhaal, the “awkward” situation was softened a little by the fact they’ve gotten intimate on-screen together before.

“We had already had fake onscreen sex before in ‘Brokeback Mountain’ so it came naturally, we just had to do it again. But in all seriousness, it was very brave of Anne. I think women tend to be objectified more than men and she really does bare a lot, not only literally but figuratively. Her performance was incredible,” Gyllenhaal said. “But we’re friends and we understand the process of acting, and as a result of that we felt comfortable, even when it was awkward, and we try to joke about it. I try to be as respectful as possible, and if you are respectful on the set it makes it as dirty as it can be onscreen.”

And despite of Gyllenhaal’s A-list status, the folks in the Viagra world weren’t too warm when it came to giving characterization tips.

“It was an amazing world to learn about, primarily the sales in pharmaceuticals. I was fascinated to find out how hard it is to get into that world – to learn information from active people, particularly people selling from Viagra,” he added. “So often when you’re making a movie about something, (the real professionals) are like ‘come on in.’ That wasn’t the case for this movie, but it was fascinating. It took a while for people to open up – I didn’t know why there was so much secrecy."

Klass announced in September that she and partner Graham Quinn were expecting a sibling for three-year-old Ava in March.

Her pregnancy came after the couple spent 18 months trying to conceive.

Klass said this week she is looking forward to finding out the baby's sex at her 20 week scan.

She said: 'I don't know what the flavour is yet but I am going to be finding out. It's funny when you say it ruins the surprise, but the surprise is like a tomato or something. It's only going to go one of two ways, right.'

This uncensored trailer for "Friends" basically presents similar formula with the one for "No Strings", two friends agreeing to have an intimate relationship with no emotional attachment. But, it gives a way more skins. One scene, in particular, takes a look at Justin checking out Mila's naked body before dropping his pants to show her his junk.

In "Friends with Benefits", a young female headhunter convinces a potential recruit to leave his job in San Francisco behind and accept a job in the Big Apple. Despite an attraction to each other, both realize they're everything they've been running from in a relationship and decide to become friends with benefits. It's the perfect arrangement, until they realize there's no such thing as no strings attached.

Justin and Mila are supported by a cast ensemble that include Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jenna Elfman, Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins and Andy Samberg. Meanwhile, Will Gluck serves as the director of this romantic comedy which is due to be released in the United States on July 22, 2011.

Nude pictures that appear to be of Kat Dennings, the actress who starred alongside Michael Cera in "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," have surfaced on several websites Friday.

One of the photos shows a naked woman, who strikingly resembles the 24-year-old actress, staring seductively at what seems to be a webcam with her arms wrapped around her knees, leaving a generous portion of her left breast exposed.

In another compromising shot, the woman is seen, from the chin down, completely topless while wearing black underwear.
The sources of the Internet leaks have yet to be identified.

Dennings, who will next be seen in "Daydream Nation" and in "Thor," is the latest Hollywood starlet caught up in a risque photo scandal.

Earlier this year, topless pictures of Paramore's Hayley Williams randomly surfaced on the singer's Twitter page. In 2009 nude photographs of "Twilight's" Ashley Greene made its rounds on the internet. Her lawyers at the time threatened to sue anyone who published them. A nude painting of Sean Connery has been unearthed in Scotland

It is the kind of artwork that James Bond would probably display on his wall with pride.

But until now, an oil painting said to depict a young Sir Sean Connery wearing nothing but a thong has been hidden from view in a little-used darkroom.

The artist Robert Webster, known as Rab, painted the actor, who later played 007, in 1951.

Mr Webster was a student at the Edinburgh College of Art, and a 21-year-old Sir Sean modelled for his class.

Following Mr Webster’s death last month at the age of 83, his family have decided to stage an exhibition of his work – including the previously unseen image of Sir Sean, now 80, and his bare back.

Nick Bihel, who is married to Mr Webster’s niece Heather, said: ‘There were a few sketches of Sean Connery which are distributed among the family, so to speak.

‘The oil painting was part of a whole load of paintings just stacked on top of each other in a studio he used as a darkroom.

'It’s a totally unseen collection. We always knew he had done work of Sean Connery.

'Sean Connery was a male model for art classes at the college when Rab Webster was there.’

The exhibition is expected to include 50 paintings created by Mr Webster between around 1945 and 1967.

Love and Other Drugs co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway attended the film’s Opening Night Gala during AFI Fest 2010 in Hollywood, California on Thursday night. Edward Zwick’s upcoming comedy-drama is scheduled to hit theaters on November 24, and Access Hollywood caught up with the film’s lead actors at last night’s event to ask about their thoughts on the project.

“It was a nude fest on set,” Gyllenhaal candidly revealed to Access Hollywood. “[Zwick] was equally devoted to the nakedness as we were.” When he was asked to describe how it felt to reunite with his Brokeback Mountain co-star in Love and Other Drugs, Gyllenhaal evaluated Hathaway’s performance and gave a sterling review.

“She gives an incredible performance in this movie and when you’re working with somebody who’s got the goods... it’s easy,” he said at the Opening Night Gala. “It was fantastic, she’s amazing.”

As for Hathaway, who told Vogue last month that she felt the nudity was an integral component of the characters in the film, she told Access Hollywood that she hopes Love and Other Drugs’ adult theme does not scare off potential viewers.

“[It’s] a lot racy, a lot racy, I keep talking to people who’ve seen the film, I’m like, ‘Was it too sexy for you?’” she revealed. “I think it’s one of those [films] that you have to know someone really well to recommend it to them, but hopefully people won’t hesitate.”

Matisse nude bronze sells for $48.8M at NY auction

A 6-foot Henri Matisse bronze of a nude woman seen from behind has been sold for over $48 million in New York City, a record auction price for the artist's work.

Christie's says "Back IV" was purchased Wednesday by Gagosian Gallery Inc. The price included the buyer's premium. It had been estimated to bring $25 million to $35 million.

Matisse created a series of four of the bronze reliefs, what some consider his most ambitious sculptural work. He worked on them between 1908 and 1931.

The singular motif of the works is a woman leaning against a wall. She's seen from behind.

Major museums have complete sets, including New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Christie's said it was the first time that one of the colossal bronzes was brought to auction.

Not to be outdone in the sexiness stakes, Paul Walker, 37, was looking sizzling hot, stripped off to the waist in some brown board shorts, muscled chest and arms on full display.

Despite arriving with a sizeable entourage of crew members the two stars seemed to gravitate towards each other, moving their towels so they were face to face as they talked.

Walker and Brewster's other Furious co-star, Vin Diesel declined to join the rest of the gang on the beach.

The 43-year-old action star opted instead to stay behind at their luxury hotel, soaking up the south American sun.

Diesel appeared to be in full relaxation mode, with his feet up on the table, head back, laughing heartily.

He was apparently in great spirits and thoroughly enjoying his break from filming, giving the thumbs up at one point to the waiting photographers.

Diesel is reprising his role of Dominic Toretto in the latest Furious instalment.

In Fast Five, Toretto has been recently freed from jail by Brian O'Conner (played by Paul Walker), they flee the country and assemble a team of their friends and fellow elite drivers to confront a corrupt businessman (played by Joaquim de Almeida) who wants them dead, while at the same time avoiding capture by a relentless federal agent (played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The action packed flick is filming in Brazil as well as Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and Atlanta.

The movie's producer, Neal H Morris recently revealed that there will also be a sixth instalment in the popular franchise, which is currently being developed and will film back to back with the current project.

Fast Five is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on June 10, 2011.

Voters say no to topless ballot measure

Voters in a state representative district in Pittsfield have knocked down a ballot proposal that pushed for a woman’s right to go topless in public.

The Third Berkshire District ballot question failed on Election Night by a more than 2-1 margin, with 2,934 votes in favor of the measure and 6,855 against. The proposal would have required the district’s state representative to support legislation amending the definition of nudity so that females of any age could be shirtless in public anywhere that males can.

Katherine Gundelfinger, who spearheaded the effort to put the question on the ballot, said she was confident that this wasn’t the last folks will hear about the issue.

“The 2,934 voters who voted in favor of amending the definition of nudity to reflect gender equality give me confidence that this is an important issue that must be heard,” Gundelfinger said in a statement.

For now, indecent exposure in Massachusetts remains a misdemeanor, carrying a maximum penalty of up to six months in a house of correction, a $200 fine, or both.

Scarlett Johansson Will Star As a Sexy Alien

For the adoring eyes of fanboys everywhere, that title says it all.

According to reports, Scarlett Johansson is set to star in Under the Skin for writer and director Jonathan Glazer.

In the movie, Johansson will go other-worldly, playing an alien walking amongst us disguised as the “perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman.” And what is she doing here? Well, she’s using her “voracious sexuality” to hunt for human prey along highways and other desolate locations.

While a movie just about Scarlett Johansson running around eating us would be amusing enough, there is more to the plot. It’s further described that “She is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth. With this new found humanity and weakening alien resolve, she finds herself on a collision course with her own kind. Taking her point of view throughout, the film presents a unique look at our world through alien eyes.”

Glazer hasn’t done anything since 2005, but is best known for directing the Ben Kingsley drama, Sexy Beast, as well as writing and directing Birth, which starred Nicole Kidman.

Glen Basner, CEO of FilmNation, the company behind the movie, said this of the announcement:

We’re so very excited to be working on this arrestingly original movie. How could we pass up the chance to work with a visionary director like Jonathan, especially when combined with the intriguing notion of Scarlett Johansson as a ruthless alien seductress?

No word on when production is planned to start, or when we might be able to see Johansson killing our own. Could this be the next Species? Or will it fall more along the lines of Jennifer’s Body?

Explaining about the unique idea of forming a nude cleaning agency, Economics student Katka Kopecka said: 'We needed to find work and couldn't find it so we thought of this. Nobody likes cleaning and everyone likes to look at a good body.’

Sotheby's moved $227 million worth of Impressionist and modern art on Tuesday, helped by a record-setting $69 million Modigliani nude, signaling an art market recovery amid continued economic uncertainty.

While U.S. voters' said their Election Day choices were strongly driven by financial worries, art collectors spent freely on works by Matisse, Monet and Modigliani's "Nu assis sur un divan (La Belle Romaine)," which soared to $68,925,500 or more than half again the pre-sale estimate of about $40 million.

The artist's previous auction record was $52.6 million, set earlier this year in Paris.

While a quarter of the 61 works on offer failed to sell, the total from the sale, the first of two weeks of key auctions at Sotheby's and rival Christie's, came to $227.56 million including commission, comfortably within the estimate range of $195 million to $265 million.

"To reach that total, particularly with the world the way it is, we're very happy with these results," said David Norman, worldwide co-chair of Impressionist and modern art.

Bidding came from "all corners of the world," Norman said, with noteworthy participation from Russia and Asia, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.

Sotheby's said the sale was its best in New York since May 2008, which was the last major auction before the financial crisis brought a sharp falloff in art sales and prices.

With $800 million to more than $1 billion worth of art on the block over two weeks, the auction houses are tapping a newly global art market after a rocky 2009, when they sharply curtailed auctions and cut staff.

Other top-priced works included one of Monet seminal water lilies, which fetched $24.7 million, and Matisse's "Danseuse dans le fauteuil, sol en damier," which sold for $20.8 million.

Bidding was consistent, if deliberately paced, with heavy telephone buying. Works that sold mostly did so within their pre-sale estimates.

The auctions continue on Wednesday at Christie's, which secured this season's biggest estate sales.

Postwar and contemporary art, which promises to outflank the once dominant Impressionist and modern arena, will be held next week.

Eiko and Koma at Walker Art Center

Throughout November, Gallery Two of the Walker Art Center is a second home to the New York-based choreographic team of Eiko & Koma. The artists, who are usually seen on stage, have transformed the museum space into a mysterious sanctuary they fully inhabit in a “living installation” called “Naked.”

Sand-colored tarps covered with pressed sand, salt and feathers hang from the ceiling to define the area. Holes burned into the tarps offer one means of viewing the activity inside but it is best to actually enter and take a seat on one of the low benches. Eiko and Koma, who have been performing together for nearly 30 years lie nude in the middle of the room, their white powdered bodies streaked with dirt. Piles of feathers provide a resting place and the only sound is water dripping from the ceiling (and the ambient noise drifting in from the surrounding galleries). The lighting subtly shifts, marking the transition from day to night and back again. The air is thick, suggesting a closed environment, perhaps a cave.

Eiko and Koma are known for their butoh and modern dance influenced movement and Naked is a particularly clear example of the duo’s deliberate relationship to time. They move very slowly but not at all luxuriously. Their well-traveled bodies may be experiencing the initial stages of birth or, more likely, the final throes of death – either way, the performers are undergoing a physical and emotional transformation that requires the full attention of every muscle. This is demanding work that would prove punishing to even the most prepared body and it is impressive that Eiko and Koma are ready to perform this work for six hours a day, six days a week (with just one 15-minute break a day) until the end of the month.

Sitting on our benches just a few feet away from Eiko and Koma we can see the smallest impulses emanate from back or abdominal muscles. Mostly their eyes are closed but when they do open it’s as if they are not seeing anything, as if they are only looking into a void. For the most part, the pair moves independently but occasionally they reach out with a hand or a foot to touch the other. This contact is important because otherwise they would seem completely abandoned and the overall sense of loneliness could become unbearable.

Watching “Naked” feels like a privilege. Although the installation is created within a public space it harbors very intimate moments that have nothing to do with the baring of skin but instead the sharing of vulnerability. These artists are giving us the opportunity to witness the odd beauty that can be located within the slow process of decay – their own decay. Over the course of the next few weeks the work will evolve to uncover more layers of meaning, perhaps becoming even more disconcerting as a meditation on mortality.

Generally, being the official provider of some product to someone who wears a crown can only boost your business, but these days that’s not the case for Queen Elizabeth II’s go-to place for underwear, Rigby and Peller.

The company, which has held the warrant to provide the United Kingdom’s monarch with intimates and unmentionables since 1960, also counts Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga and Scarlett Johannson among it’s clients. It’s known for its near-legendary service — The Independent writes that getting a bra fitted at one of its many shops used to be considered a rite of passage.

It’s also considered expensive, and with similar services offered at more accessible retailers, Rigby and Peller is felling the pressure of competition:

A consumer looking for a budget purchase may now pick up a bra at any high-street chain for £10. Department stores too offer a huge range of merchandise, as do upmarket retailers such as Myla and La Perla.

Add that trend to rapid expansion since the company came under new ownership in the early 80s, and you’ve already got a serious drain on a struggling business. In fact, “according to its latest annual accounts, the company made a loss of £214,000 last year, compared with a pre-tax profit of £168,000 the year before.”

So why is the well-pedigreed shop is having trouble? Now that the world’s economy is getting back on its feet, buyers are noticing that women are willing to invest a little more in great quality underwear. While Rigby and Peller has that to spare (it even stocks up to size M) it’s been difficult for the independent retailer to keep up with big-box chains and flashy luxury labels.

Either way, one of the controversial billboards advertising Danny's, a downtown Jackson strip club, has been torn down. The provocative advertisement featuring a blonde in a bikini with the slogan "Strippers love to climb our pole," was hanging off the side of the billboard just south of Savanna Street on I-55 North.

Chris Gannon, the attorney for Danny's, said his client has agreed to change the wording on the signs on I-55 and I-220, but he said he was unaware of the board on I-55 coming down. The sign on I-220 remained intact Monday afternoon.

Last month, Mayor Harvey Johnson Jr. sent a letter to brothers Blake and Daniel "Dax" Owens asking them to consider removing the signs. Gannon said club management has agreed to change the slogan on the signs.

"I think that's what the city was most upset about," he said.

Gannon said he did not know how long it would take to alter the remaining signs on I-220.

Bra art competition raises breast cancer awareness

When it comes to breast cancer, anything can spread awareness, even a pitchfork or a mound of spray insulation.

On Friday, a menagerie of mundane items became works of “bra art” for the first Designer Cup Challenge Bra Art Competition at Robinwood Medical Center in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Holly Luther, community health educator, said the Washington County Cancer Coalition sponsored the event, which featured 17 works of bra art, plus pieces by a local metal artist.

Bra art shows have been supporting cancer awareness nationwide and Luther said she wanted to give it a try in Washington County this year.

Both groups and individuals could submit a bra for the event, which also was a competition.

Seven judges evaluated the art, awarding first- through third-place winners for group and individual entries.

Ad Fulton, who lost his first wife, Barbara, to breast cancer, was one of the judges.

While Fulton said he wasn’t the most qualified judge, he acknowledged the importance of events such as the bra art competition.

“It’s all (so) someday, we can be rid of this terrible disease,” he said.

Verda Henry of Mercersburg, Pa., won first place in the individual category with her Cupcake Bra.

Henry, a mammographer at Robinwood, said there were specific guidelines for turning the bra into a work of art, including the size and material.

Inspired by her niece’s bakery website, Henry said she used spray insulation, straight pins and cupcake papers to turn her bra into cupcakes.

“On the home page of my niece’s website, it said, ‘Life’s uncertain. Eat dessert first,’” she said. Those are words to live by, she said.

Millions have been touched by breast cancer, including metal artist Scott Cawood of Antietam, who makes bra sculptures from scrap metal.

Connected to the disease through his mother, Dorothy Cawood, who is a breast cancer survivor, Cawood brought some of the bras he crafted using items such as nails, machine shims, bicycle chains, pitchforks and metal shelving to the event.

Looking at all of the bras in the room, each a thing of unique beauty, was an emotional experience, Luther said.

Especially looking at the bra made by the teenagers of Girls Inc., she said.

“To me, to know our next generation is intent on spreading the prevention message is inspirational,” she said.

In addition to the display of bra art, numerous community organizations set up tables with literature on breast cancer services, she said.

A pink afghan made by a patient at the John R. Marsh Cancer Center also was raffled to raise money.

And that's what country singer/actress LeAnn Rimes is probably realizing right about now.

According to TooFab, Valerie Latona, editor of Shape, sent out an email to subscribers this week that read:

"You are all in good company... as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover," the editor began.

Readers were aghast and reacted immediately when the mag put Rimes (wearing a sexy red bikini), who has admitted to cheating on husband Dean Sheremet with married Eddie Cibrian) on the cover with the self-serving headline: 'LeAnn Rimes: How Working Out Saved Me.'

"Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story) how we all are human," Latona wrote. "And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment."

"But it did not come across that way... And for that I'm terribly sorry. I hope that we can do better the next time for those of you that will give us another chance."

The mea culpa email was signed "Humbly, Valerie."

Kim Kardashian is curvy woman and proud of it — these days. But she didn’t always feel that way. Like other young women, she was self-conscious about her figure because of the fashion industry’s idealization of skinny models.

As a teen, the bootylicious reality TV maven confesses that she wished she were skinny and less voluptuous.

“I grew up looking at skinny models and feeling like I didn’t relate,” Kardashian, 30, tells the November 2010 issue of Cleo magazine.

“So when people come up to me and say they’re proud that they have someone they can look up to who has curves, I’m honored.”

Kim, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday with lavish parties in Las Vegas and New York, confesses that as a kid she wanted to look more like her older sister, Kourtney, 31, who is five feet tall.

“Kourtney and I are around the same age but I developed quicker and was curvier than her,” the 5’1″ Kim recounts. “There was never any weird competition, but there was just me wishing I looked a bit more like Kourtney.”

Ironically, Kim’s younger sister, the 5’10″ Khloe, spent all her life being compared to her two petite sisters and wished she looked more like them.

“I’ve been bullied, basically, my entire life. I’ve been compared to my sisters since the day I was born,” said Khloe, who has been teased all her life for being overweight.

I don’t look exactly like them. I’m bigger than them, but I’m me. I’m just always told how big I am,” she recounts.

All three Kardashian girls now work out regularly and eat healthier, thanks to the pressures of constant media scrutiny over their looks and size.

Kim, who released her own exercise DVD, clothing line and fragrance recently, works out with a trainer several times a week, runs on the treadmill and does lots of squats and lunges to keep her curvy physique in shape.

Kim has been posing naked a lot recently. In her most recent shoot, she appeared nude in the November 2010 issue of W magazine.

But now she insists she may be hanging up posing in her birthday suit, although she said the same thing after posing for Playboy.

“I’m really honored [W] chose me for the art issue,” says Kim. “It turned out beautifully, and I love it.”

But, Kardashian added: “I don’t know [if I'll pose nude again]. I’m too old for that now…I wanted to get it all out of my system before I turned 30.”

As People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) hits 30, it's unlikely the animal advocates group--which once portrayed the fur-donning Olsen twins as animal slaughterers in a video game--ever thought that they would be associated with sex appeal à la Pamela Anderson. In case, you might be wondering how sexy going meatless is to the 'Babewatch' girl, check out PETA's latest ad campaign, which features the 43-year-old buxom blonde clad only in a purple string bikini and her body parts divvied up.

The ad shows a done-up, hair-tussled Anderson in a very pin-up girl pose, that is, until you catch the black ink etched across her body. Not to be confused with a new tat, the ink suggest a butcher's diagram with her body parts labeled as "leg" and "ribs" to larger (er, meatier) portions like "breast" and "rump." A caption reads "All Animals Have the Same Parts," inferring that humans and animals are made of identical parts, so, as PETA says, why not pledge and go veg?

Despite a grand opening for the ad in London this week, Anderson's parts were not as welcomed in her home country. Montreal banned the ad for being too "sexist." Anderson had no sympathy for her fellow Canucks and chastised them for censorship.

"In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens," she tweeted. "In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas -- is that next? I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical."

While this is making news, what's not new is Anderson's long-time reputation as a voluptuous veggie (she's been one since her teens). Besides offering her "talents" to ads, she's campaigned against seal hunting in Canada and stood strong during PETA's fight against Kentucky Fried Chicken, saying "What KFC does to 750 million chickens each year is not civilized or acceptable." She also received the first Linda McCartney Memorial Award for animal rights protectors for her campaign efforts. And hat tip for her recent adoption of two dogs from a New Orleans shelter.

Russell Brand has always thought new wife Katy Perry was a little firecracker - but the singer seems to have taken her groom's thoughts literally in her new video.

After an obsession with carefully-positioned cupcakes, Katie now appears to be shooting actual flames from her chest in the promo for new single Firework.

However, though it's not the first time a pop star has shot flames from her chest - Lady Gaga did it on stage at hte Much Music Awards in Canada a year last June.

But Katy has explained that her stunt was to symbolise the fighting spirit and 'life spark' latent in all human beings rather than simply for shock value.

Talking on her official website, the new bride explains: 'I think that in life, people are challenged to get to where they want to be and to reach their goals.

'Hopefully they can hear this song and find out that those challenges aren't really difficult to get past.'

Katy, 26, got together 250 'real life' inspirational young people 'that are buzzing and fizzing and have the potential to become fireworks' from eight different European countries to star in the video rather than use actors.

They all congregated in Budapest, Hungary, for the shoot.

Katy is seen getting emotional as all 250 youngsters assemble before her for the first time.

She explains: 'With my story, it's been so many trials and tribulations to get to this place. It's amazing to hear people get through things in life and reach their goals.'

'Music can be so powerful and I think it can transform you and inspire you and heal you. We're basically making a formation of a firework, all the kids are being the sparks around me.'

'The whole vibe of the video shoot is a movement, an emotional experience.'

The promo sees a plump girl who is refusing to join in with a pool party suddenly get her spark, strip off and jump in the pool, alongside a bald young child who appears to be a cancer patient and a shy gay man.

All end up shooting sparks from their chests too in the climax to a song and video which has more than a echo of the sentiments in Christina Aquilera's Beautiful.

The finale sees all 250 dancing together in one of the beautiful squares in the stunning city, with special-effects fireworks shooting from their bodies into the sky.

The video chimes with the song's lyrics, which include: 'You've got to ignite the light and let it shine and own the night/'Cos baby you're a firework, come and show them what you're worth.'

The single, which Katy performed on the X Factor on 17 October, is the third to be taken from her album Teenage Dream. It was released on Monday and has already gone to Number Five on downloads alone.

Kendra Wilkinson has explained why he refused to do nude photo in Playboy, because her husband Hank Baskett does not want Kendra Wilkinson to accept the Playboy offer only to prove that she is still sexy as a mother.
In some news that should launch before, Kendra reported refused for reasons of being overweight.

“He didn’t yell at me. He wasn’t mad at me for doing that photo shoot. He actually sat down with me and he went over the reasons of doing it. And you know, my reasons weren’t right. I wanted to do Playboy for the wrong reasons. The wrong reasons are to prove people wrong, not to prove it to myself but to people and to put my middle finger up to everybody and be like, ‘I’m going to do Playboy!’ But that wasn’t the right reason, you know,” Kendra said as quoted from the Huffington Post at Wednesday (28/10/2010).

Indicted Russian spy Anna Chapman is next month’s cover girl for the Russian version of Maxim magazine. Sporting black lacy lingerie, gauzy black gloves and chandelier diamond earrings, her infamous red mane falling in Hayworth-esque waves, she gazes at the camera seductively, a shiny silver gun raised in her hand.

It’s all very Bond girl.

Chapman, who’s doing everything she can to cash in on her infamy since being arrested in June as part of a ten-person Russian spy ring, tells the magazine, "Most men are divided in three categories: Primitive, those that only want sex; smarter, those that want to be loved, and [the] last group -- those that not only want to be loved. They also need that this love will be the biggest and most amazing feeling in your life. Those are the most difficult, but that is my favorite category."

What about those who know how to defuse a bomb and like to sweep rooms for bugs?

Kate looks faboosh in this shoot for Brazilian lingerie label Valisere in which she models a veritable feast of undergarments including a suspender belt, stockings and feather boa. Oooh, Kate!

Now, admittedly there have been whisperings on t’internet that a rather large airbrush has been employed in order to make Mosskins look completely flawless in the shoot. Whilst there’s no denying Kate does look EXTREMELY fresh of face in the pics, we’re not exactly talking about a Mariah Carey album cover, are we? And Moss DID announce in September that she was going to be turning over a new leaf, after all…

Pre-fringe Moss was last seen at Bryan Ferry’s album launch at Soho’s Dean Street Townhouse, where guests apparently queued up to say how much they liked her new hair instead of complimenting Ferry on his album. Doh! Mossy did indeed look stunning at the bash last week, though she didn’t look quiiiite as flawless as in these newly released images from the luxury underwear label’s latest campaign.

Crystal Renn Loves Lingerie But Doesn’t Wear Underwear

On Thursday, Crystal Renn walked a runway at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York wearing a latex bodysuit and nipple pasties for Carine Gilson’s first lingerie show in twenty years. Considering the scene, it should come as no surprise that when New York Magazine’s Jada Yuan chatted with Renn after the show, the conversation hewed to the theme of the evening: underwear.

Renn, for her part, seems sublimely comfortable with nudity and the fact that designers always “want to put latex on [her] for shows,” a fact she attributes to her “dominatrix-type energy.” But when it comes to actual lingerie, Renn likes to keep things really simple.

“I could tell the truth and say that often I’m not wearing bras or underwear. Being someone who doesn’t tend to wear undergarments — and I’m so sorry for anyone who might be offended by my eccentric ways — but when I do wear it, I make sure it’s a special occasion, and I wear it as a special thing, feeling special, so therefore the effect is stronger than ever. As opposed to every day, feeling the effect. Special times, special measures.”

Renn also opened up about her weight, which she says has fluctuated from a size 0 at her smallest, to a size 12-14 at her largest. She has now found a comfortable and happy place being something around a size 8-10.

“Well, I’m so active [now.] In the past, I avoided exercise because it brought back terrible feelings. I wasn’t ready. And I was scared that maybe I was going to be addicted again… I think I probably have a good relationship with the exercise that I do do. I’m taking care. I’m just in a really good place. I do hiking. I do yoga, but nothing crazy, just in my house. It brings me peace.”

There’s been a lot of controversy about the fact that Renn, at her present size, is too small to be considered plus-size. But what we think is most awesome and more telling is that in her current iteration, Renn makes a great case for the diversifying the industry in general, and in every direction. Why should models be categorized as “straight” size or “plus” size? Why not just have models of any size?
